Pelagon provides a web based business management application that is uniquely configured to enable global advertising agencies to streamline their internal business activities across workgroups and departments. AMS is a workflow tool that includes, campaign, project and job management workflow controls, integrated with financial management, digital asset management and team resource management.

Grey Global Group are implementing the solution to enable greater visibility across all client based work activities, managing timelines, costs and resources from creative teams through to project management, account handling, to studio and production from traditional activities into interactive/online.

AMS will be deployed in a Pelagon hosted Microsoft environment and will be accessible across the entire Grey Global network from New York, through London and San Francisco. Potentially over 50 worldwide officesd will have access to the system.

AMS will be used extensively to manage all activities, from the creative brief, through to media planning and the final execution of online or offline artwork, audio/video and online. AMS will enable Grey to reduce the "transaction cost of advertising" by delivering real time informaiton across multiple jobs, managing critical timelines, account activity, incurred costs against estimate and the approval of client content.

AMS uses its own internal project management solution to define timelines and allocated tasks to key personnel, early warning emails and personal dashboard information enables users to act on events in real time. Costs are saved through a reduction in delays, reworkings, miss communication and over or under servicing of client accounts against budgets.

Pelagon implemented the AMS solution to enable EMI to drive greater efficiencies across its Digital Graphics Network Group within it's North American record labels. AMS was implemented to replace an existing solution because of added functionality and capability. AMS delivers workflow management, project scheduling, PDF preflight checking, content view and approvals, routing and delivery. The AMS solution is provided as an ASP service, with Pelagon hosting the solution and providing software support, servicing and training. The solution is used in New York, Miami, Nashville and Los Angeles.

Pelagon's Activity Management Solution provides and overall business management application solution to global providers of advertising and marketing production and pre-press services. AMS incorporates financial controls (WIP), project & workflow management, resource and task allocation and content viewing and approving. The Hub+ implemented AMS to manage both local, regional and global clients. The system is currently hosted inhouse and laterly will be supported as a hosted service in the Pelagon data centre. Integration into 3rd party software will deliver greater integration of backend vertical solutions as well as deliver greater business information and knowledge management.

AMS is the core operating software environment for user operations and provides internal management reporting capabilities to provide key critical status information.

National Audit Office report on many aspects of UK government expenditure, as an independent auditing service the delivery of reports to the market is an essential element of the business process. Traditionally the project management of this process was a mainly manual methodology that would benefit from the introduction of a Professional Service Automation (PSA) workflow solution. Pelagon were chosen with another vendor to provide such a solution. AMS is used in the publications area to manage project delivery, milestone management and critical dates. AMS is also used for the view and approval of all marketing and publishing material within the NAO. Currently AMS is delivered as a hosted solution, however this will be redeployed within the NAO with an AD integration for single sign-on.
